Your data, our responsibility

What we collect

• Account data — your name, email, password hash, and the OAuth provider you used to sign up.
• Profile data — the persona, target sectors, watchlist, and resume content you choose to share with BoardAxis.
• Product usage — pages viewed, features clicked, and timestamps. Used to improve the product and nothing else.
• Billing data — handled by Stripe. We never see your card details.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data. Ever.
• We don't share your watchlist or resume with other users.
• We don't run ad networks or embed third-party trackers beyond basic product analytics (PostHog).

Data you can control

From Settings → Data you can export a JSON bundle of everything we hold about you, or request deletion. Deletion is permanent and takes up to 30 days to propagate to backups.

SEC data

Company and director records come from public SEC EDGAR filings and are not user data. If you believe a public record about you is inaccurate, please contact us at privacy@boardaxis.com and we'll review and correct or remove it.
